Factory OEM Galvanized Steel Stair Treads for Outdoor / Warehouse / Platform Stairway

Steel stair grating step plates, also known as stair tread plates or steel ladder plates, are designed for use on platforms and stairways. Available in two primary installation types:

Welded fixation: Economical and durable, directly welded to the keel without side plates, but not easily removable
Bolted fixation: Features thickened side plates with drilled holes for bolt installation, allowing for easier disassembly

Product Specifications

Bearing Bar Type	Plain (Flat) bar, Serrated bar, I-bar, etc.

Available in eight different models with welded installation. Four front guard plate options: no guard plate, patterned, striped, or with holes. Custom configurations available upon request.

Surface Treatment Processes

Pickling

High-grade steel grating undergoes pickling after production to remove scale and welding discoloration that could cause corrosion. The process submerges the grating in a cleansing bath, leaving a metallically pure, corrosion-resistant surface.

Hot Dip Galvanizing

The steel grating is submerged in molten zinc, creating a metallurgical bond between zinc and steel. This galvanization process forms a durable, corrosion-resistant protective layer.

Powder Coating

A cost-effective, durable coloring method involving degreasing, pickling, zinc-phosphating, and electrostatic powder application followed by baking at 180°C. For enhanced protection, combines hot-dip galvanizing with powder coating. Available in all RAL colors with various gloss levels and textures.
